We were lucky enough to have Adela as our guide, she was very flexible and efficient when planning the tour and also on the day. We drove along the Transfagarasan Highway and up to the Balea Ice Hotel in the cable car, and finished the day with a walking tour of Sibiu. We had a fantastic time, everything was well organised and Adela is an incredible guide, extremely friendly and passionate and her knowledge of Transylvania and Romania as a whole is very impressive, we learnt so much throughout the day. Definitely recommend Adela and Transylvania Guide Sibiu, will absolutely book again when visiting in the future!

Adela is a pro: she knows her history and presents it in an entertaining and thoughtful way. But it was more than just that. We were fortunate to spend two full days with her and through her we got a sense of the Romanian people, of how the people and their history intertwined, of who they are and why. It was a rare travel experience, not something we could post on Instagram but much more memorable. Highly recommended.
